The present invention relates to an air purification method capable of circulating indoor air in consideration of the composition of outdoor air and a system thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, an air purification system comprises a first apparatus and a second apparatus. The first apparatus comprises a first measurement unit measuring the composition of outdoor air and a transmission unit transmitting the measured composition of the outdoor air to an indoor apparatus. The second apparatus comprises: a reception unit receiving the composition of the outdoor air； a second measurement unit measuring the composition of indoor air and a biometric signal within a preset radius； a control unit comparing the composition of the outdoor air with the composition of the indoor air to determine which composition is better； and a connection unit, a passage for supplying the outdoor air, generating plasma in the passage to sterilize the received indoor air. When the outdoor air is better than the indoor air, the control unit inducts, sterilizes, and supplies the outdoor air to an indoor space.
