According to the present invention, disclosed is a mammogram synthesizing device using a digital breast tomosynthesis image and a method thereof. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the mammogram synthesizing device using a digital breast tomosynthesis image, which produces an image similar to a mammogram image with a low dose by using the digital breast tomosynthesis image and the method thereof. The mammogram synthesizing device comprises: an input unit to receive image data from an X-ray detector； and a control unit to produce the digital breast tomosynthesis image by preprocessing the received image data, to produce a forward projection image and a maximum intensity projection image from the produced digital breast tomosynthesis image, to apply a low-pass filter to the produced forward projection image, and to apply a high-pass filter to the produced maximum intensity projection image.본 발명은 디지털유방단층합성법 영상을 이용한 유방조영술영상 합성장치 및 그 방법이 개시된다. X선 검출기로부터 영상데이터를 수신받는 입력부 및 상기 수신된 영상데이터를 전처리과정으로 디지털유방단층합성법(digital breast tomosynthesis) 영상을 생성하고, 상기 생성된 디지털유방단층합성법 영상으로부터 전방투사(forward projection) 영상 및 최대강도투사(maximum intensity projection) 영상을 생성하며, 상기 생성된 전방투사 영상에 저역필터를 적용하고, 상기 생성된 최대강도투사 영상에 고역필터를 적용하는 제어부를 포함한다.
