The control unit 2 generates image data for projection based on captured image data captured by the imaging unit 12. The memory 4 stores data groups including figure information indicating figures of images of medical devices. The projecting unit 3 projects projection image based on image data for projection onto operative field 101. The control unit 2 selects figure information from the figure information stored in the memory 4 based on degree of similarity to fluorescent image captured by the imaging unit 12. The control unit 2 generates image data for projection to project image including figure indicated by selected figure information onto the region of fluorescent image in operative field 101.
