PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle beam treatment device that can treat an affected part of human or animal eyeball in a short time and is applicable to treatment of other affected parts of human or animal than the eyeball.SOLUTION: A particle treatment device for emitting a charged particle beam 2 to an affected area of a patient's eyeball 1 includes: a particle accelerator 3 that generates the charged particle beam; a movable irradiation nozzle 4 that is adjusted so as to direct the charged particle beam to the patient's eyeball in accordance with a different beam direction; and a patient support 5 that is adjusted so as to accept and hold a patient located at a treatment position.
