1. A health assessment system for assessing a patient’s health, wherein said system is configured to receive medical data representing a patient’s oxygen saturation, detecting an event of a drop in blood oxygen saturation from medical data, determining a recovery reaction after an event of a drop in blood oxygen saturation; formulating a health assessment based on the patient’s recovery reaction, the health assessment being based on the patient’s recovery reaction with and without the intervention of a health care provider. 2. The system of claim 1, wherein the intervention of the health care provider is detected in at least one of a change in the level of oxygen in the inhaled air and the detection of the action of the health care provider. The system of claim 1, wherein the recovery reaction is determined based on the recovery time of the patient after an event of a drop in blood oxygen saturation is detected. The system of claim 1, wherein the recovery reaction is determined based on a period of time from detecting an event of a drop in blood oxygen saturation until a patient is restored to a predetermined blood oxygen saturation. The system of claim 1, wherein the reduction reaction is based on the rate of recovery after detecting an event of a drop in blood oxygen saturation. System (12) according to claim 1, in which the reduction reaction is based on increasing blood oxygen saturation after a fixed period of time after detecting an event of a drop in blood oxygen saturation. 7. System (12) according to claim 1, in which at least one of the settings for the ventilator and patient treatment is regulated depending on the health assessment. System1.
