Disclosed is a scent generation device for a vehicle, which prevents leakage of an air freshener in order for an internal volume of a scent accommodating unit to be varied due to a pressure change. The scent generation device for a vehicle includes a main body unit including: the scent accommodating unit accommodating the air freshener inside, and a discharge unit discharging the air freshener accommodated in the scent accommodating unit to the outside. The scent accommodating unit is formed in order for an inner volume to be varied depending on a change of an inner pressure. A material and a structure, capable of changing the volume of a part of the scent accommodating unit accommodating a liquid or solid air freshener depending on the pressure, is applied to the scent generation device. As such, the scent generation device maintains a constant inner pressure by increasing the volume of the scent accommodating unit when the inner pressure rises due to a rise in temperature； thus the scent accommodating unit accommodating the air freshener does not leak the inner air freshener at high temperatures.향 수용부가 압력의 변화에 따라 내부 체적이 가변되게 구성되어 방향제의 누설을 방지한 차량용 향 발생 장치가 개시된다. 차량용 향 발생 장치는 내부에 방향제를 수용하는 향 수용부와, 상기 향 수용부에 수용된 방향제를 외부로 발산하는 배출부를 갖는 본체부를 포함하며, 상기 향 수용부는 내부 압력의 변화에 따라 내부 체적을 가변시키도록 구성된다. 액상 또는 고상의 방향제를 담지하는 향 수용부의 일부를 압력에 따라 체적을 변경할 수 있도록 재질 및 구조를 적용함으로써, 온도 상승에 따른 내부 압력의 상승 시 향 수용부 내부의 체적을 증가시켜 내부 압력을 일정하게 유지할 수 있도록 한다. 이로 인해, 방향제를 담지하고 있는 향 수용부가 고온 환경에서도 내부의 방향제를 누설하지 않는 효과가 있다.
