PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture needle which is clearly made into an image even when an angle between the puncture needle and a radiation direction of a detection wave of ultrasonic waves of an ultrasonic probe etc. is small.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, the ultrasonic puncture needle for puncturing observing a puncturing state by ultrasonic images has a needle point formed on the tip end of the puncture needle body, wherein at least one corner cube mirror 12 due to a trigonal pyramid shape recess is formed at the predetermined position of the puncture needle body.
