PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn mower capable of reducing its own noise with a simple and inexpensive construction.
SOLUTION: The lawn mower comprises a motor a rotary blade a rotation-transmitting means that transmits the motors rotation to the rotary blade a fixed blade superimposedly fixed coaxially on the rotary blade and at least the body housing the motor. This lawn mower also includes a supporting member functioning to support the motor, the rotation-transmitting means and the fixed blade, and a springy member is installed between the supporting member and the body thereby enabling vibrations transmitted from the supporting member to the body to be inhibited further, when the springy member is composed of an electrical insulation member, electrical insulation between the mowing blade and the body can be accomplished.
