PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying method of a plaster tooth model, the method that eliminates problems of the occurrence of deformation, deterioration or cracks and causing a deficit area due to baking, can shorten a drying time, and is secure without causing the problems even if being left for a long time and dried.SOLUTION: A tooth model wet to the inside in moisture is immersed in silica gel granules containing a B-type silica gel and is dried. Preferably, a content of the granules of the B-type silica gel in the granules of the silica gel is 90% by weight or more. Also preferably, the tooth model wet to the inside in moisture is immersed in the silica gel granules so that the silica gel granules of 1 cm or more in thickness may exist on an entire circumference of the tooth model, by wiping off moisture deposited on the surface of the wet tooth model in moisture, and dried. Further preferably, the time while the tooth model is immersed in the silica gel granules may be 20 minutes or more.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】加熱乾燥による変形、変質、或いは亀裂の発生や欠損部の生ずる問題点がなく、乾燥時間を短くでき、長時間放置して乾燥しても問題の生じない安全な石膏製歯形模型の乾燥方法を提供する。【解決手段】内部まで水分で湿った歯形模型を、B型シリカゲルを含有するシリカゲル粒状物中に埋没させて乾燥させる。シリカゲルの粒状物中のB型シリカゲルの粒状物の含有割合が90重量%以上であることが好ましい。また水分で濡れた歯形模型の表面に付着している水分を拭き取り、歯形模型の全周囲に厚さで1cm以上のシリカゲル粒状物が存在するように内部まで水分で湿った前記歯形模型をシリカゲル粒状物中に埋没させて乾燥させることが好ましい。さらに歯形模型をシリカゲル粒状物中に埋没させておく時間が、20分以上であることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
