PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for synthesizing calcium phosphate, in each of which different crystal morphologies and/or different compositions of the calcium phosphate can be controlled.SOLUTION: The apparatus 100 for synthesizing calcium phosphate includes: a first vessel 22 and a second vessel 32 in one of which one of a phosphoric acid-containing solution 20 and a calcium-containing solution 30 is housed and in the other of which the other thereof is housed a reactor 40 which is communicated with the first vessel while interposing a first feed pipe 16 therebetween and is communicated with the second vessel while interposing a second feed pipe 26 therebetween and into which the phosphoric acid-containing solution and the calcium-containing solution are fed respectively from the first vessel and the second vessel and control means 24, 28, 34, 38 for controlling feed rates of the phosphoric acid-containing solution and the calcium-containing solution to the reactor and controlling the temperature of the phosphoric acid-containing solution in the first vessel and that of the calcium-containing solution in the second vessel.
