PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for the acid treatment of laver, free from adverse effect on the laver-growing environment owing to its phosphorus-free formulation, having excellent buffering power to cause extremely little pH variation, exhibiting maximum acid-treating effect and surely exterminating various algae and bacteria from the laver.SOLUTION: The agent for the acid treatment of laver is produced by mixing an organic acid with a buffering agent compound generating an acid and a conjugate base in a solution and seawater to obtain a state containing a buffering liquid in an acidic solution. Accordingly, the pH variation caused by the dilution with seawater in the acid treatment work and the addition of an acid or a base can be extremely decreased and the agent is maintained to about pH 2 necessary for the acid treatment. The acid treatment work of laver is performed in high efficiency without using a phosphate-based buffering liquid containing phosphorus to promote the eutrophication of seawater and, accordingly, the adverse effect on the environment near a laver culture farm is eliminated.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】 リンを含まない配合として海苔生育環境への悪影響を防ぎ、且つ緩衝能に優れpH変化が極めて少なく、酸処理効果を最大限に発揮して海苔から雑藻類や細菌等を確実に防除できる海苔酸処理剤を提供する。【解決手段】 有機酸に、溶液中で酸と共役塩基を生じさせる緩衝剤化合物と海水を混合し、酸性の溶液中に緩衝液が含まれる状態を得ることから、酸処理作業中の海水での希釈をはじめ、酸や塩基が加わることに伴うpH変化を非常に小さくして、酸処理に必要なpH2付近に維持でき、能率良く海苔に対する酸処理作業が行えると共に、海水の富栄養化を促すリンを含むリン酸緩衝液を用いずに済み、海苔養殖場周囲の環境への悪影響をなくせる。【選択図】 なし
