PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insecticidal and acaricidal agent having excellent insecticidal and acaricidal effects.SOLUTION: This insecticidal and acaricidal composition comprises a certain specific dihalopropene compound (e.g. 3,5-dichloro-4-(3-(5-trifluoromethyl-2- pyridyloxy)propyloxy)-1-(3,3-dichloro-2-propenyloxy)benzene, a dispersing agent having &ge40 dynes/cm surface tension of a 1 wt.% aqueous solution thereof, an organic compound which is a liquid at normal temperature and has &le1 g solubility in 100 g of water at 20°C and water.
