Intravascular devices, systems and methods are disclosed. In some examples, the intravascular device is a guidewire having an electrical conductor printed on a solid core wire. In some examples, the electrical conductor is coupled to a conductive band adjacent to the proximal portion of the guidewire. Also provided are methods of making, manufacturing and / or assembling such intravascular devices and associated systems. In certain aspects, the guidewire of the present invention comprises a body having an inner core and an outer layer with one or more embedded conductors. These conductors are exposed at one or more positions along the body, and a conductive material can be laminated over the exposed positions.
