Disclosed is a system for forming and cooling gum, the system including a forming system configured to size the gum to include a substantially uniform thickness, a cooling device that is disposed in-line with the forming system and configured to continuously receive the gum from the forming system at an entry point of the cooling device, and a multi-pass conveying system configured to continuously transport the gum from the entry point to an exit point of the cooling device, the forming system and the cooling device being configured to form and cool the gum to be in a condition for stacking or collecting upon exiting the exit point of the cooling device.Se da a conocer un sistema para conformar y enfriar goma, el sistema incluye un sistema de conformación configurado para ajustar en tamaño la goma para que incluya un espesor sustancialmente uniforme, un dispositivo de enfriamiento que se dispone en línea con el sistema de conformación y se configura para recibir de manera continua la goma del sistema de conformación en un punto de entrada del dispositivo de enfriamiento, y un sistema conductor de pases múltiples configurado para transportar de manera continua la goma del punto de entrada a un punto de salida del dispositivo de enfriamiento, el sistema de conformación y el dispositivo de enfriamiento se configuran para conformar y enfriar la goma para que esté en una condición para el apilamiento o recolección al salir del punto de salida del dispositivo de enfriamiento.
