PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new image processing method which can be easily implemented at cosmetics counter or the like.SOLUTION: An image processing method which deletes body hair, especially downy hair, from a skin image of a subject includes: a step of preparing a skin color image of the subject a plane data creation step of dividing the skin color image into RGB planes and manufacturing required plane data a binarization step of binarizing the plane data obtained in the above step an expansion step of expanding the body hair to be deleted in the image binarized in the above step and deletion step of writing skin color data of the subject over a body hair area section expanded in the expansion step, in the skin color image.
