Methods and compositions used to identify and characterize novel rhodopsin domains, which are anion-conducting channelrhodopsins. The rhodopsin domain of these anion-conducting channelrhodopsins have been cloned, optimized and expressed in mammalian systems and thus may be used in, among others, optogenetic applications and as therapeutic agents for electrically active cell mediated disorders.L'invention concerne des procédés et des compositions utilisés pour identifier et caractériser de nouveaux domaines de rhodopsine, qui sont des rhodopsines-canaux conductrices d'anions.
