The present invention provides a liquid detergent composition, which can realize delicate texture, good foam quality when closely contacting with the skin and good in applying on the skin, in order to allow the foam to be applied evenly on the skin during cleaning, and good use feeling for softening skin after cleaning. A liquid detergent composition comprises the following ingredients (A) and (B): (A) N-acyl glutamate or salt thereof having a carbon number of 8-18 and (B) N-acyl aspartic acid or salt thereof having a carbon number of 8-18, and (C) amphoteric surfactants, in which the content of the ingredients (A) and (B) is in total more than 2% and less than 18% of mass, and the content of the ingredient (C) is below 2.5% of mass.
