PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner excellently using the mutual interaction of ozone gas and a photocatalyst.
SOLUTION: The air cleaner includes: an ozone gas generator 14 for generating the ozone gas to be mixed with air to be cleaned a photocatalyst-containing filter 16 for receiving the mixture gas of the air and the ozone gas generated by the ozone gas generator and a light source 18 for imparting a photocatalytic action to the photocatalyst-containing filter 16. The photocatalyst where flat crystal particles are bonded to three-dimensional crystal particles is used for the photocatalyst-containing filter 16.
