A composition for detecting a latent fingerprint according to the present invention comprises a 2-cyanoacrylate compound and a silicone oil, wherein the content of the silicone oil is 700 to 9000 parts by mass wherein the content of the 2-cyanoacrylate compound is 100 parts by mass. The composition for detecting a latent fingerprint according to the present invention can additionally contain a fluorescent dye, a stabilizer and the like.本發明之潛在指紋檢出用組成物係含有2-氰基丙烯酸酯及矽酮油,矽酮油的含量在將2-氰基丙烯酸酯的含量設為100質量份之情況下為700~9000質量份。本發明之潛在指紋檢出用組成物可進一步含有螢光染料、安定劑等。
