The present invention relates to an endoscope device and a controlling method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the endoscope device comprises: a main probe portion of which the fore-end unit formed at one end thereof is inserted into the body of a person subject to checkup； a sub probe portion which is connected with the main probe portion, irradiates laser beams to organic mucous membrane of the person subject to checkup, and receives laser reflective beams, which are the irradiated laser beams reflected from the organic mucous membrane； a sensing portion which includes a sensing unit generating a Raman spectroscopy signal or a high-resolution image signal in a preset wavelength band, from the laser reflective beams received by the sub probe portion, and converting the incident laser reflective beams into an electric signal； and a shaking compensating portion which compensates shaking of the Raman spectroscopy signal or the high-resolution image signal generated from the laser reflective beams when the shaking occurs at the fore-end side of the sub probe portion.
