PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of manufacturing oil from microorganisms capable of producing carbohydrate with small energy consumption.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing oil from microorganisms capable of producing carbohydrate comprises: a culture step of culturing microorganisms on a culture medium; a concentration step of dehydrating and concentrating the microorganisms including the culture medium which was cultured in the culture process; a cell destruction step of destroying a cell of the microorganisms by slow freezing in which a cell of the microorganisms concentrated in the concentration step is maintained in a predetermined freezing temperature zone where the cell is supercooled for a predetermined period of time; and an oil separation and collection step of separating and collecting oil from the microorganisms destroyed in the cell destruction step.
