PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant composition which is excellent in deodorant durability of methyl mercaptan, and can suppress occurrence of dimethyl disulfide (DMDS) generated by dimerization of the methyl mercaptan.SOLUTION: There is provided a deodorant composition formed by depositing manganese dioxide to active carbon through a binder resin, where a shape of the active carbon is granulated carbon, an average particle size of the manganese dioxide is 0.3 μm or less, an amount of the manganese dioxide to be deposited is 0.005-0.05 g per 1 g of the granulated carbon, and an amount of the binder resin to be deposited is 0.001-0.005 g per 1 g of the deodorant composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】メチルメルカプタンの消臭耐久性に優れると共に、メチルメルカプタンが二量化して発生するジメチルジスルフィド（ＤＭＤＳ）の発生を抑制できる消臭組成物の提供。【解決手段】活性炭にバインダー樹脂を介して二酸化マンガンを付着させた消臭組成物であり、前記活性炭の形状が造粒炭であり、前記二酸化マンガンの平均粒径が０．３μｍ以下であり、前記二酸化マンガンの付着量が前記造粒炭１ｇあたり０．００５～０．０５ｇであり、前記バインダー樹脂の付着量は、前記消臭組成物１ｇあたり０．００１～０．００５ｇであることが好ましい消臭組成物。【選択図】なし
