PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adhesion of adhesive to outer peripheral surfaces of rolls and sticking of a fibrous continuous sheet to the outer peripheral surfaces.SOLUTION: The pressing apparatus includes a pair of rolls driven to rotate with the outer peripheral surfaces thereof facing each other, wherein, in passing the fibrous continuous sheet on which a polymer is layered through a thermoplastic adhesive through a roll gap between the pair of rolls along the continuation direction, the polymer and the fibrous continuous sheet are compressed by the outer peripheral surfaces into a single piece. The apparatus includes a heating mechanism for heating at least a roll of the pair of rolls on the side of the fibrous continuous sheet.
