PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress having air cells surely preventing a bed users oppressive feeling and deviation in the bed longitudinal direction when raising or lowering the back of a bed.SOLUTION: The mattress 10 (a mattress lower layer 31 and an air cell unit 1) is installed on a back bottom 11, a lumbar bottom 12 and a leg bottom 13 of a Gatch bed, and the back section of a patient lying recumbent on this mattress 10 is disposed with a back-hollowed cell 40.
