PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress having air cells surely preventing a lateral deviation and slipping-down of a bed user when raising or lowering the back of a bed.SOLUTION: A mattress lower layer 30 is installed on a back bottom 11, a lumbar bottom 12 and a leg bottom 13 of this mattress and the widthwise both side edges of the mattress lower layer are provided with side air cells 40 extending in the longitudinal direction. The whole body of the mattress lower layer is disposed with an air cell unit 1 consisting of a plurality of air cells.
