#$%^&*AU2010214707A120120315.pdf#####Abstract The Safe Fluid Carrier is purposely built for safe and easy transport of fluid bags in the health care setting. The carrier is specifically designed for transfer of up to 6 x 5000ml bags of filtrate (effluent) from a bedside dialysis or Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) device to the point of disposal (sluice or toilet basin). The carrier allows simply transfer of fluid bags to and from hooks of like height, minimising manual handling and thereby reducing the risk of injury and fluid exposure to the health care worker. The Safe Fluid Carrier has a custom built tubular stainless steel frame. The frame is comprised of two uprights which are fixed to a cross bar made with dimensions suitable for straddling toilet basins or sluices.
