PURPOSE: A composition containing a bamboo sap extract fermented with salt is provided to enhance the content of active ingredients in bamboo sap and to enhance skin whitening, anti-aging, and moisturizing effects.CONSTITUTION: An external use skin composition contains 0.001-50.0 wt% of bamboo sap extract fermented with salt as an active ingredient. The composition is used for anti-aging, whitening, and moisturizing. The extract is prepared by adding 10-30 wt% of salt to bamboo sap, maturing, fermenting, and extracting with water or organic solvent. The salt is sodium chloride, bay salt, halite, and bamboo salt. The fermentation is performed at 4-40 deg. C for 30 days to 6 years.
