PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an absorbent article, capable of suppressing occurrence of a failure when converting the direction of the absorbent article while preventing the absorbent articles from interfering with each other.SOLUTION: The manufacturing device of the absorbent article includes: a forming mechanism for forming the absorbent article a conveying mechanism for conveying the absorbent article formed by the forming mechanism and a counting mechanism for counting the absorbent article supplied from the conveying mechanism. The counting mechanism includes: a plurality of guide members 92 for holding the absorbent article a moving member 91 for moving the guide members in a direction along the horizontal direction and a support member 93 arranged below the guide members in the vertical direction. The guide member is projected from the outer peripheral surface of the moving member along the horizontal direction. Opposed surfaces opposed to each other in the guide members are surfaces along the vertical direction for holding the absorbent article.
