The present invention relates to a redox-responsive polymer-photosensitizer conjugate containing disulfide linkers which include disulfide bonds capable of performing cancer cell selective fluorescence imaging or photodynamic therapy by activating fluorescence and reactive oxygen production using a reducing agent. The polymer-photosensitizer conjugate bonded by the disulfide linkers suppresses fluorescence and reactive oxygen production by energy transfer between photosensitizers bonded by the polymers outside the normal tissues and cancer cells, and expresses strong fluorescence signals and cytotoxicity while producing reactive oxygen species when disulfide bonds are cut by intracellular reducing agent after being targeted and accumulated in cancer tissue or cancer cells. Therefore, production of fluorescence and reactive oxygen is activated only when the conjugate is entered into the cancer cells so that side effects can be reduced and cancer selective fluorescence imaging and photodynamic therapy can be performed.본 발명은 환원제의 작용에 의하여 형광 및 반응성 산소 생성이 활성화 됨으로써 암세포 선택적 형광 영상 또는 광역학 치료를 가능하게 하는, 이황화물 결합(disulfide bond)을 포함하는 이황화물 연결자로 결합된 고분자-광감각제 결합체에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 이황화물 연결자로 결합된 고분자-광감각제 결합체는, 정상조직 및 암세포 밖에서는 고분자에 결합된 광감각제간의 에너지 전달현상에 의해서 형광 및 반응성 산소 생성이 억제되어 있다가, 암조직 또는 암세포에 표적 및 축적된 후 세포내 존재하는 환원제에 의해 이황화결합이 절단되는 경우에는 강한 형광 신호를 내고 또한 반응성 산소종을 생성하면서 세포 독성을 나타내는바, 결합체가 암세포 내로 들어갔을 때에만 형광 및 반응성 산소의 생성이 활성화되어 광역학 치료의 부작용은 감소되고 암 선택적 형광 영상 및 광역학 치료가 가능하다.
