Disclosed is an oil-in-water type emulsion skin cosmetic which can be spread on skin easily, is not sticky, has an excellent feeling as an active ingredient penetrates into skin, can enrich skin, can moisturize skin, and can exhibit a high skin improvement effect due to glycerin contained therein, when prepared in the form of a formulation containing glycerin at a high concentration or a formulation containing a combination of glycerin and an acrylamide-type thickening agent. The skin cosmetic is characterized by comprising (A) a D-amino acid or a derivative or salt thereof, (B) a homopolymer, a copolymer or a crosspolymer containing at least one component selected from 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid, acrylic acid and derivatives thereof as a constituent unit, (C) an ester oil with an IOB value of 0.2 to 0.6, and (D) glycerin.글리세린을 고배합한 계 또는 아크릴아미드계 증점제와 병용한 계에 있어서도 피부상으로의 발림이 가볍고, 끈적거리지 않고, 유효 성분이 피부에 침투하는 느낌의 침투감이 뛰어나고, 윤기를 부여하고, 촉촉하게 하고, 게다가 글리세린에 의한 높은 피부 개선 효과를 발휘할 수 있는 수중유형 유화 피부 화장료를 제공한다.(A) D-아미노산, 또는 그 유도체 또는 염, (B) 2-아크릴아미드-2-메틸 프로판 술폰산, 아크릴산 및 그 유도체 중에서 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상을 구성 단위로서 포함하는 호모폴리머, 코폴리머 또는 크로스폴리머, (C) IOB값이 0.2∼0.6인 에스테르유 및 (D) 글리세린을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
