This oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic is characterized by containing the following components (A-C): (A) rhododendrol or a derivative thereof represented by general formula (1) (in the formula, R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a C2-20 acyl group, or a sugar moiety of a monosaccharide or a disaccharide) (B) a propylene glycol mono- C10-C26 fatty acid ester and (C) a water-swellable clay mineral.
