A tick dragging device comprises a fabric (10) to be dragged along the terrain. The device attracts ticks to the fabric (10). The fabric (10) comprises at least one pocket (13, 14) for a bait. The pocket (13, 14) spreads the effect of the bait to ticks hiding in the undergrowth. A selection of baits may be used to attract different species.
