PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a sheet-like cell culture having high clinical safety and good quality.SOLUTION: A method for producing a released sheet-like cell culture comprises the steps of: (i) inoculating a cell on a substrate (ii) compressing the cell to the substrate (iii) culturing the cell to form a sheet-like cell culture and (iv) releasing the culture from the substrate.
