PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system capable of securing an observation field of vision by one of two observation means (a first and a second observation means) as much as possible even when observation is being made by the other observation means.
SOLUTION: An endoscope 12 of the endoscopic system 10 has a nozzle 112, and objective lenses 82 and 92 for first and second observation means 64a and 64b on the tip of an insertion part 32 one by one. The objective lenses are placed at a position which can be influenced respectively by supplying liquid/air from the nozzle. A control circuit 162 is connected to an air/water supply device 20 connected to the nozzle and is connected to the first and second observation means. The control circuit operates the air/water supply device 20 and has the objective lenses selectively supply liquid/air so as to remove adhered substances of the objective lenses of the observation means different from the observation means where an image is displayed to an observation monitor 18 when the image by the observation means selected by a relay board 50 is displayed to the observation monitor.
