The present invention relates to an electrical pest controller having a switch shielding means. According to the purpose of the present invention, since provided with a switch shielding means having a slide cover or a rotational cover, and selectively shielding an on/off switch which is exposed to the outside at one side of a grip, the present invention can selectively shield a switch from being exposed to the outside of the grip, and accordingly prevent the switch from being unintentionally turned on due to careless handling, whereby a safety accident is reliably prevented from happening to an infant, a toddler, or an elderly person who is vulnerable to electricity. To achieve this purpose, the electrical pest controller having a switch shielding means, according to the present invention, includes: a frame, a current carrying member, a grip, a power supply unit, a circuit unit, and an on/off switch, an installation groove is recessed in a certain inward area at one side of an engaged surface in which a pair of grips face and are coupled to each other, and the on/off switch is protrusively installed on the recessed surface of the installation groove.
