PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of securely removing a shellfish fastening implement, and a simple-structured and inexpensive removing device.SOLUTION: In the removing method, a rope is drawn into the removing device to run, and a projection of the shellfish fastening implement penetrating and projecting through the rope is brought into contact with an aligning implement and is turned outward in the circumferential direction of the rope. The projection is drawn into a remover side by the rotation of the remover disposed on the outer side of the rope to be removed from the rope. Unremoved projections of shellfish fastening implements are removed by the rotation of the remover disposed at a head in the running direction of the rope. The removing device includes: a rope passage； a puller for pulling the rope； the aligning implement for turning the projection of the shellfish fastening implement penetrating and projecting from the rope outward in the circumferential direction of the rope； the rotary remover for drawing the projection into the outer side in the circumferential direction of the rope and removing the projection； and a discharge shooter for discharging the shellfish fastening implement removed from the rope to outside. The aligning implement is disposed on the rope passage, and at least two removers are disposed in such a manner that their positions are displaced in the running direction of the rope.【課題】貝係止具を確実に抜去できる方法と、構造簡潔、安価な抜去装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の抜去方法は、ロープを抜去装置に引き込んで走行させ、ロープを貫通突出している貝係止具の突出部を整列具に接触させてロープの周方向外側に向け、その突出部を、ロープの外側に配置された抜去具の回転により抜去具側に引き込んでロープから抜去し、抜去されなかった貝係止具の突出部は、ロープ走行方向先方に配置された抜去具の回転により抜去するようにした。本発明の抜去装置は、ロープ通路と、ロープを牽引する牽引具と、ロープを貫通突出している貝係止具の突出部をロープの周方向外側に向ける整列具と、その突出部をロープの周方向外側に引き込んで抜去する回転式の抜去具と、ロープから抜去された貝係止具を外部に排出する排出シュータを備え、整列具をロープ通路の上に配置し、二以上の抜去具をロープの走行方向に位置をずらして配置した。【選択図】 図１
