The present invention relates to a composition comprising one or more zinc salts and 1,2-octanediol, the weight ratio of the amount of zinc salt(s) to the amount of 1,2-octanediol being strictly greater than 1, and the content of 1,2-octanediol being strictly less than 0.5%by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition.
