A female urethral catheterization assist device and method of use. The female urethral catheterization assist device includes a pair of blades pivotally connected at a middle point that enables a user to selectively open and close the blades. A handle is positioned at one end of each blade and a panel is disposed at an opposing end. The panels extend in the same direction and form an interior lateral side. Each panel is adapted to engage with a labia minora and majora, to allow for the insertion of a female urethral catheter.
