PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a germination method of a Wasabi seed, enabling sowing for Wasabi seeds all the year, and remarkably improving the rate of seedlings grown from the sown seeds to seedlings with two or more leaves.SOLUTION: A rooting Wasabi seed 10 which stores the seed leaf in a husk 20 of the seed and whose hairy root lateral root 14 roots from a radicle 12 of 3-7 mm is sown in a growth medium while water and light are supplied in an artificial facility kept to a constant temperature, and put in a germination state in which the seed leaf is developed from the husk 20.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】通年を通じてワサビ苗用の種まきを可能とし、且つ播種した種子から本葉二枚程度の幼苗への幼苗育成率を著しく向上できるワサビ種子の発芽方法を提供する。【解決手段】定温度に保持されている人工的な施設内の育成培地に、水及び光を供給しつつ、種子の殻20内に子葉が収納され、3~7mmの幼根12に毛根状の側根14が発根した発根ワサビ種子10を播種し、殻20から子葉が展開した発芽状態とする。【選択図】図1
