PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing rose seedlings, improving a shipping rate (survival rate) so as to increase production efficiency in the production of rose seedlings to be offered to cut flower cultivating farmers.SOLUTION: This method for producing the rose seedlings includes bringing buds 21 of the root part of the stalk of cultivation objective species to a grafted body 2 leaving leaves 22 as they are, leaving leaves 11 on a wild rose stem to be a rootstock 1, grafting the grafted body 2 with a usual means rather below the leaves 11 of the rootstock 1, planting cutting of the rootstock 1 on an appropriate seedling bed 3, cutting off the leaves 11 of the rootstock 1 and buds on the root after root taking of the root of the cuttage, and growing sprouts for a prescribed period.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】切り花栽培農家に提供するバラ苗の生産において、出荷率(活着率)を高めて生産効率を上げる手法を提供する。【解決手段】栽培目的種の葉柄の根元部分の芽21を、葉22を残したままの接ぎ体2とし、台木1となるノイバラの茎に葉11を残し、前記台木1の葉11のやや下方に、前記接ぎ体2を常法手段で接ぎ芽を行い、台木1を適宜な苗床3に挿し木を行い、挿し木の根の活着の後に、台木1の葉11及びその根元にある芽を切除し、所定期間新芽を発育させてなる。【選択図】図1
