The priming cap comprises a body member with a first end and a second end and having a wall with an inner and outer surface, the body member defining a first cavity, wherein the priming cap comprises a venting member allowing passage of air from the first cavity through the venting member and limiting passage of liquid from the first cavity through the venting member.
