PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod reel seat in which the guidance performance and the durability of a moving hood and a reel seat body are improved by increasing a contact area while smoothening guidance between a guide protrusion of a moving hood and a guide groove of the reel seat.SOLUTION: A fishing rod reel seat 9 includes: a reel leg placing part where a reel leg 6a is placed； a reel seat body 12 formed of a pair of left and right guide grooves 29, and a lower side guide groove 30； and a cylindrical moving hood 22 including a guide protrusion guided by the guide slot of the reel seat body 12, and movably configured along an axial direction of the reel seat 9.
