The absorbing body includes a pair of low-basis-weight areas (42) extending in the longitudinal direction, at boundaries between the central area and the peripheral area, which adjoins the central area in the width direction (W), and a first compressed groove (40) extending in the longitudinal direction, in the central area, at the widthwise center of the absorbing body. The fastening part (90) is provided so as to avoid the area where the first compressed groove is formed in the longitudinal direction.
