A method and system for air purification comprising an air spinning chamber 202 having a grill 210 for spinning entered air, a first UV light chamber 204, a bio-matrix filter 206, a second UV light chamber 208 comprising an ozone neutralizer. The grill is preferably for creating a turbulent air flow through the first chamber to allow the air to stay in the first chamber for longer. The arrangement preferably includes a controller and an ozone sensor for determining a fault condition or malfunction, the controller arranged to shut-off the system if a fault is detected.
