The interbody fusion cage for fixing the two vertebral bodies of the spinal column comprises a first part (2) and a second part (3) opposite the first part (2). Both parts have a planar structure extending in the axial direction along the central axis (1a). The first part (2) and the second part (3) have corresponding respective contact surfaces (2a, 3a) for receiving the corresponding vertebral bodies in contact. The cage can also comprise a gripping area (4) for connection with the positioning device. The first part (2) and the second part (3) are hinged along the hinge axis (1b) so that they can rotate relative to each other in a continuous motion.
