The invention relates to an arrangement (10) in a forest machine (100), whichforest machine (100) includes a chassis(12), a swing bogie (14) comprising a swing frame (16) and at least two wheels(18), a power transmission (19), and a swing bearing(20) attached to the chassis (12) for mounting the swing bogie (14) on thechassis (12), which arrangement (10) includes support means(11) for supporting the swing frame (16) at least sometimes on the chassis(12) of the machine. The support means (11) include asupport surface (22) fitted in connection with the forest machine's (100)chassis (12) at the side of the chassis (12) and a counter surface(24) fitted in connection with the swing frame (16) on the side of the swingframe (16) for transmitting lateral forces with the aidof the support surface (22) and the counter surface (24) between the chassis(12) and the swing frame (16) during contact betweenthe support surface (22) and the counter surface (24), which support means(11) are located at a distance (1) from the swing bearing(20) in the space between the wheels (18) of the swing bogie (14) and thesupport means (11) include two pairs (26) formed by thesupport surface (22) and the counter surface (24), located on both sides ofthe said swing bearing (20). The invention also relates toa corresponding forest machine.
