PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe for a prefilled syringe which can prevent a syringe from being mistaken by making foreign matter in a liquid medicine visible from the outside of the syringe filled with the liquid medicine when the liquid medicine is given to a patient and appropriately controlling the dose of the liquid medicine when the medicine is given to the patient.SOLUTION: The syringe 10 for a prefilled syringe includes an outer cylinder 2 having a nozzle portion at the tip portion, a cap 3 engaging with the nozzle portion, a gasket 4 slidably stored in the outer cylinder, and a pusher 5 attached to the rear end of the gasket. The gasket 4 is located a prescribed distance nearer to the tip side than to the rear end of the outer cylinder 2.
