The nursery tray (114) includes multiple cell perforations (116) for supporting the first tray (106) in an inverted position above the nursery tray (114) for facilitating dispersion of each seed into each cell perforation of multiple cell perforations (116). The apparatus (100) further includes a receptacle (118) positioned below the first tray (106) for providing vacuum to the first tray (106), and the receptacle (118) includes a cylindrical body (119) protruding from a circumference of the receptacle (118).
