PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition decreasing bitter taste and astringent taste peculiar to panaxadiol and panaxatriol having bioactivity such as carbohydrate metabolism improving action, and suitably ingestible as food and drink having bioactivity such as carbohydrate metabolism improving action, and to provide a method for improving taste at least either of the panaxadiol or the panaxatriol.
SOLUTION: This composition includes (A) at least either panaxadiol or panaxatriol, and (B) at least either linoleic acid or palmitic acid.
