PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tomographic image generation device, a radiographic image photographing system, a tomographic image generation method, and a tomographic image generation program capable of providing a tomographic image with high visibility with respect to an object of interest.SOLUTION: A console control part acquires a plurality of projection images obtained by successively irradiating the breast with radiation from a plurality of irradiation angles and photographing the irradiated breast for each irradiation angle. The control part acquires mammary gland density Gd of the breast. Further, the control part derives a tomographic interval Td which is narrower with increase in the acquired mammary gland density Gd.
